Abass Siraji - Condolences

Donation protected
Somalia’s Minister of Public Works and Reconstruction, Abass Abdullahi Siraji who was the torchbearer of hope amongst Somali youth and one of the many success stories of Dadaab refugee camps was fatally shot in the presidential palace and died on May 3rd, 2017.

Hi my name is Abdikadir Dakane Athur and I grief this sudden and heartbreaking death with you. Abass was a close friend and a classmate of mine. We shared some great memories and went through tough times together. Currently, I live in Seattle Washington, USA.

I, with the help of Ibrahim Idiris Aden and Ahmed Sheikh Bashir have setup this gofundme page on behalf of the family of Abass to help cover some of the funeral expenses. I would like to assure you that 100% of the funds raised through this site will go to the family of Abass Siraji. We plan to channel all the funds through Mohamud Abdullahi Siraji who is the brother of Abass Siraji. Details of the remittance such as receipts will be posted. Please keep an eye out for updates and share this site with your friends.

Finally, on behalf of Dadaab youth we would like to send heartfelt condolences to the friends, families, and relatives of the late minister.

We thank you very much for participating in this noble cause.
