Drink at A-Bar A-gain!


COVID-19 has stopped the clock, worldwide. NYC/Brooklyn has become the epicenter of the pandemic, and unfortunately, the restaurant and bar industry has been profoundly affected as a result. Many are at a loss as to how they'll resurface from this tragedy. We love our Greenpoint community and don't want to in any way jeopardize the health of our patrons and friends. We're starting this Go-fund-me with the hopes that it will help us stay closed and survive this unusual time while following all the health and operation guidelines. 


We would be nothing without the friends and regulars who frequent the A-bar. We are reaching out to our community to help us keep going. Every day that we stay closed for makes re-opening harder as rent and utilities pile up. 


We have a bunch of thank you gifts available for those who contribute. We won't forget that you helped us during this time and we can't wait to celebrate with you all when this is over. If we're able to meet our goal, we promise to have a great re-opening party, when we're allowed to party again! We'll say thank you in person then and give those hugs we all need so much. We'll continue to update the thank you gifts as time goes on so keep on checking back with us and please feel free to share with anyone who you think might be able to help. 


Thank you for you support always and especially through these incredibly difficult times.  All we want is to be able to safely stay closed while it's necessary and re-open when we receive the green light.
