Hiya! My name is Ren, and on the evening of September 15, I successfully trapped two kittens who had been living in the engine of a parked van. At around 8 weeks old, their mother had abandoned them 3-4 weeks prior when she had again gotten pregnant. They had been fed thanks to several big-hearted neighbors, but there wasn't much movement to do more for them. And after discovering these two wee scamps myself, I was determined to get them into a safe home.

For the 2 weeks leading up to September 15, I spent my time reaching out to rescues, contacting mutual aid networks, and hanging out at their van. A friend with fostering experience offered to take them in if I could trap them, and is prepared to do all the leg work to get their health needs sorted. But with cat rescues at capacity all over the province, getting their expenses covered is a different story.

I'm hoping our communities can come together to raise enough funds to cover the following for Lil Dip and Shy:

-kitten food

-litter

-dewormer

-flea treatment

-spay/neuter

-other vet tests

Any additional funds will be donated to Neveah's Charity of West Lincoln Cat Rescue.

Thank you for sharing and contributing, both monetarily and in care for these critters! We appreciate you!
