Abandoned Dog in Elmstead Woods

My colleague found this poor abandoned dog on Saturday 1st March, she was tied to a post in Elmstead Woods. She was found at 7am, freezing cold and frightened.

The muzzle put on her was far too small for her, her nails are horrendously long, her fur is falling out, she is malnourished and is showing evidence recently having a litter.

Now the good news…… she’s safe, has a name and is enjoying her time in her foster home getting her ready for her forever home.

Esme requires 3 meals a day and a lot of veterinary care, including getting her spayed when she is in a healthy state and of course this costs.
