On Saturday, June 7th, my partner & I found an abandoned baby bunny in the woods on the side of the road. We are rabbit lovers so we knew we had to do everything we could to help him.

He was very obviously a pet - extremely friendly and trusting. However, the people who dumped him there severely abused & neglected him. Not only does he have major trauma to his face (one of his teeth were knocked out), but his backside was terribly matted with urine and feces and he was unable to clean himself properly, requiring him to be shaved down. He did great for the first few days, before taking a nosedive and falling into a medical emergency called “G.I. (Gastrointestinal) Stasis”. He is currently hospitalized and full diagnostic tests including bloodwork, X-rays, IV fluids, and more are being conducted. This little baby deserves the best life, and we are confident that once we get over this initial hurdle, we will be able to care for him just like we have done for our other bunny, Cookie for the past 5 years! This was obviously a very unexpected financial blow, so any donations help tremendously! Thank you so much!
