Hi, I am Ishaway. I am an artist. I was recently robbed.

My home was recently broken into and burgled. Along with items of unique jewelry, cash, which was being saved for dental work, bills, and travel, and other items of unique appearance and sentimental value. These all hurt in their way. Mostly because several bills would be covered for the slow months between conventions with minimal worry.

The thief also made off with my 1T iPad Pro, second-gen pencil, Lenovo Legion laptop, and two hard drives. One containing all my work until about 2014, the other being my working backup, with multiple working project files and print files. My most up-to-date art backup is gone. I am looking through other hard drives to see what overlap there was. But iPad backups are gonezo.

This situation is an ongoing investigation, and I am doing what I can where I am (visiting pawn shops, and fencing places), but I do not know how successful those efforts will be. Or when items may be found. Nothing has pinged on the Find my apps yet. So I am trying to stay hopeful.

This GoFundMe is to help raise funds to replace the iPad, Apple Pencil, laptop, and an external hard drive.

Roughly to replace these items it will be about $4000. I know this is a steep amount to reach. Many kind people have donated via other avenues, so this GoFundMe's goal is a bit lower than that amount. Each item stolen was researched and purchased to give me the most amount of life and use. I would like to replace the stolen items with ones of comparable storage, power, and longevity.

I would not wish this kind of situation on anyone, and I do feel less than stellar asking for donations when I know many need aid for different things; particularly at this time of year.
