Along with 34 colleagues from across Computershare , I will be trekking through Nepal for the World Youth International in November – a not for profit, non-religious and non-political international development organisation.
We are raising funds to enable WYI to extend their school in Gokrana, Nepal to cater for a further 50 Year 11 and Year 12 students, with living space on campus for them.
Our overall target is to raise at least €140,000 and my personal target of €4,500.
Every cent raised will go to WYI, Computershare have kindly agreed to cover travel costs for the trekkers . Along with many fundraising events that I will host over the coming months, this page is hopefully a place for those who wish to contribute in anyway they can remotely.
Our trek will take place along the Annapurna Mountain range within Nepal in November 2018, at a highest peak of Poon Hill.
While in Nepal will visit the Gokarna WYI school to experience and understand fully what these children endure daily and the amazing work the WYI do for them. Please read more about WYI and their school here. 0
I personally will photograph and document the trek to which I will happily share digital copies with all you who donate so kindly to this worthy cause. Anything you can donate to help me reach my goal is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for you kindness and support
