My name is Ivan Lugo aka Cookie.  I am a fraternal Brother of Norvell & Marie Green.  I am calling on all of you with a big charitable heart & to those fraternal brothers that have taken that solemn obligation to assist a brother when the time calls without causing any material injury to himself & family.   My hope & wish is that we all can come together & help this great couple in their time of need.

Many of you may know WB Norvell Green Aka Sugarman married to Marie Green Aka Sugar Momma who have been married for over 20 Years.  WB Norvell is a Past Master of River Forest Austin Lodge #850 AFAM, A member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, A member of EL JAALA Grotto, A Retired member of Widows Sons Darkside Chapter, & an active member of his HOG Chapter.  I believe there’s other groups he belongs to but I only listed the ones I have interacted with him & Marie.  So I apologize if I left you out.

WB Norvell has been in & out of the hospital since December 2015 & fully admitted since February 2016 till now.  WB Norvell went into the hospital due to having cellulitis in his leg.  He was given an antibiotic that caused him to have an allergic reaction, he then got neuropathy in his stomach.  Which prohibited him from eating food normally. He is on tube feeding for the rest of his life.     He also has had complications with his COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder) & his diabetes was out of control as well.    Marie has shared with me that Norvell will have to be moved to an acute care nursing home & Medicare only covers so much & she’s trying to figure out what she can do.

To add to the pile of problems the Greens are facing Marie informed me that she has been told that the house they rent has been placed on the market & they will have to move.  So she has a pile of medical bills she has to manage & the relocation of her husband to a facility that can accept him & care for him & now she has to pack & find a place to live.

What more can a person deal with? 
 
The monies collected can help Marie pay down some of the Medical Bills & allow her some breathing room.  The monies donated will be put use ASAP!

I am a firm believer in the man above & in the bonds & obligations of our great fraternity.  I feel that the architect of the universe places people in the right places at the right time, and I am doing what he wants me to do & that is to share this cry for help with my family, friends, Brothers & Sisters.  Let's come to the aid of a couple that is truly deserving of our help.
