My name is Emily Yamashita, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my father’s funeral service and cremation.

On November 5, 2023, my father passed away suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep. Back in the year 2020, my father suffered a stroke and it was very difficult for him to recover. My father fought everyday, but unfortunately, my father was taken too soon from us, but we know he is in a peaceful place now. For all those who knew my dad knows he was a funny, forgiving, outgoing, and caring person who wanted nothing but happiness for his family and loved ones. The loss of my father leaves a hole in our hearts that is filled with grief, but we will treasure all the memories we had with him as we heal with time. We will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife Genie, his daughters Tiffany and Emily, his son Matthew, his sisters Cindy, Binky, and Patty, and his mother Hideko. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards his funeral services. On November 19, 2023 we are coming together to lift my father’s spirit and on November 20, 2023 for his cremation.
