Our mom is beginning the hardest fight of her life. Melanie, also known as “Miss Melanie”, was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. With what started out as finding a lump on her chest has now evolved into chemotherapy, surgery and a long recovery ahead. As she steps into months of treatment, we're asking for support to help her focus on healing rather than the overwhelming financial strain that comes with cancer care.

Our mom isn't just a patient, she's the heart of our family and the heart of her dance community. She is a wife, a mom to five kids and a “mimi” to five grandbabies - who absolutely adore her. She also owns and operates a dance studio (Project Move), a place where she has poured her whole soul, energy, creativity, and love into while impacting hundreds of dancers over the years. Her studio is more than a business - it's a second home - where kids grow in confidence, joy, and strength.

Melanie is the kind of person who gives everything she has—her time, her energy, her passion—without ever asking for anything in return. She is love in motion, strength wrapped in kindness, and the quiet force behind so many people’s success. She pours her love into every person she meets and now it’s our turn to pour our love back into her.

The reality is… cancer treatment brings overwhelming medical expenses, time away from work and added stress no family prepares for.
