Justice for Molly

Justice for Molly Burgess!

The incident happened before 5 p.m. on Highway 49 near O’Hara Drive on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Driving past the site you can see the memorial that her family and friends have raised. Now the heartbroken family of 17-year-old Molly Burgess is asking for any witnesses to come forward.

Molly was a talented and vibrant young lady who was one week away from her eighteenth birthday and brimming with talent. Near auditioning for The Voice, Molly was a talented young singer and a best friend to her siblings. Her younger brother tearfully said, "I don't know who I will talk to now. She was the only one who listened without judging me." She will be forever and always missed by her parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

The CHP in Jamestown is looking for witnesses. If anyone witnessed or has any information regarding this hit and run, please contact the Jamestown CHP office at (209) [phone redacted]. You can remain anonymous.

We are raising funds ($5,000) for any information that leads to the arrest of the hit and run driver that killed Molly that Sunday evening.

Any additional funds raised ($5,000) will go toward the memorial arrangements to help alleviate the financial burden of the family.

The Memorial Service is on March 17, 2021. Further details to follow.
