Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming kindness and generosity you've shown during this difficult time. Your contributions, messages of support, and prayers mean more than words can convey.

Thanks to your help and prayers, we are making gradual progress toward our goal of ensuring Aarush's dignified repatriation from Canada to India, with the funeral home taking over the arrangements today. This marks the start of the repatriation process, and we are hopeful that everything will proceed smoothly in the days ahead.

Thank you once again for being our pillar of support. We will keep you updated as things progress.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible generosity and love. Thanks to your support, we’ve successfully achieved the original goal of funding the repatriation process that will start in due course of time. This wouldn’t have been possible without your kindness and willingness to step up in a time of need.

Given the outpouring of support and the love that continues to flow in, we welcome contributions to provide additional assistance to the family during this difficult time. Any further contributions will go directly toward helping them with their immediate needs and future expenses.

We deeply appreciate every share, donation, and message of encouragement. Your compassion has been a source of comfort and strength for the family, and it reminds us of the incredible power of community.
**UPDATE END**

It is with a heavy heart that we write this message.
Our beloved friend Aarush Shori, S/O Rajender Kumar Shori, who had moved to Canada in 2018 as a student in Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. He started his journey as a student and was also a Teaching Assistant during his time in the university. He got his work permit and worked in different jobs and industry to support himself and his family. After obtaining his Permanent Residency, he moved towards his goal of becoming CPA and very recently had been living in Toronto, Canada as part of his Career Progression.
He tragically passed away on 4-Jan-2025 in Vancouver, Canada. He was a bright, loving, and kind soul, full of dreams and aspirations. His sudden and untimely departure has left us, and his family devastated and struggling to cope with this immense loss. His father is a retired citizen of India, taking care of his vulnerable wife, who is undergoing cancer treatment.

His parents only wish now is to bring him back home to India, where he can rest peacefully among his loved ones. Unfortunately, the process of repatriating his body is complex and costly. It involves significant expenses for transportation, legal formalities, and other associated costs, amounting to 30000 CAD.

We are reaching out to you, our extended family and friends, for support during this incredibly challenging time. Your generous contributions will help us cover the costs and ensure that Aarush can be laid to rest with dignity in his homeland.

Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this painful journey.

With gratitude,
Rajat Chopra
