My name is Cindy Seay Holder. I am the widow of Mike Holder from Waynesville, NC. I am the mother of Michael Holder and Andrew James(Jamie) Holder of Wagener,SC.
Jamie was injured on January4,2001, at the age of seventeen. He severed his spinal cord at the c4-5 level making him a quadriplegic. Jamie is a brave and resourceful young man who is an inspiration to those who know him personally. To leave the yard Jamie has to have a van with a heavy duty wheelchair lift. Logisticare will provide transportation to a medical appointment if it can be scheduled. His 1996 van has turned over its last mile. The mechanics have said it is too expensive to fix. We live in a rural area of Aiken County so there is no public transportation available to him for anything other than a medical appointment. I have been looking for a newer van for him. Please help me to make this happen for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated more than I can say.

Jamie is my nephew and he’s such a great guy. Some of you probably remember when we prayed for him all those months after his car accident. When he first was airlifted to the trauma center in Columbia, the doctors gave him a five percent chance to live. But because of all the prayers and his toughness, the doctors were proven wrong. He’s still around and such an inspiration to everybody who knows him!
My brother Mike, Jamie’s Dad, died when Jamie was twelve. Despite having
serious health problems herself, Cindy, Jamie’s Mom, has always made Jamie her first priority. They’ve had some rough times financially and now they really need help. If you could contribute anything at all to this go fund me page, it would help so much. Thanks.
