Hey everyone, Aaron here! I'm glad to be able to type this out and set this fundraiser up for myself after an untimely event that landed me in the ICU. While celebrating our friend's 22nd birthday, my cousin and I were placed in a terrible and tragic event. We were both held at gunpoint, assaulted, and robbed of our belongings. While I am so glad that my cousin only sustained minor injuries to his head, I didn't have that same luck. The attacker ended up bashing my jaw in with a pistol(or pellet gun, it's still unclear of what kind of weapon they had or what the motive for the attack was), fracturing it, and leaving two more lacerations on my head from the beating. I'm setting up this fundraiser in hopes to recover any lost wages that will occur due to the nature of my mouth being wired shut for about 2 months while my jaw heals. If $1 is all you can donate, anything would be greatly appreciated to help me get through this rough time. I'd also love to help my cousin with any financial or emotional support after going through this incident with me.
