Help the Fowler Family in their Toughest Battle

In May of 2021 Aaron was admitted to the hospital after his health started rapidly declining. We discovered his right kidney was no longer functioning and we received the news that he was was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. This has led to numerous surgeries, long hospital stays in the ICU, multiple blood transfusions and much more. Aaron then started Chemo and we thought was on the road to recovery.

However, we learned that his health had gotten progressively worse and the cancer was continuing to spread. His kidneys were not functioning and he was continuing to lose blood. Then, in October of 2021, he was told he needed to have his bladder removed, as this was the best option to end his cancer battle. Unfortunately, during the surgery, the doctors discovered a tumor behind his colon and also realized cancer had spread to his liver and lungs. He was then diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It was devastating news that we were not prepared to handle.

Aaron is a fighter and still continuing to fight this battle everyday. In December he started immunotherapy and we are praying that this will help. However, last week Aaron ended up back in the hospital because his levels have been low and his blood count was again low. He had to receive another blood transfusion and has now started dialysis for his kidneys.

Because of his health issues, Aaron has been unable to work and will not be able to work any time soon. His wife is doing all she can to support them and their kids, but these past 8 months have been nothing short of stressful for them.

Right now the road ahead is currently unknown. Aaron is still in the hospital and needs to do all he can to focus on his health. This has been a lot to deal with, especially for his wife and kids. With medical expenses coming in and him not being able to work, all money from this fundraiser will go to directly to them to help pay their medical expenses and bills.
