Aaron's Eagle Scout Project: Orphan Grain Train Hygiene Kits

Hello! My name is Aaron Thernes, and I am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America in Troop 282 in Omaha, NE. For my Eagle Scout project, I have chosen to support a humanitarian and faith service project partnering with the Orphan Grain Train .

For my project, I will be assembling hygiene kits for the underserved and natural disaster victims. These kits will consist of a bath towel, wash cloth, toothbrush, comb, nail clippers, band-aids, bar of soap, a soap container, and small packet of facial tissues. I am partnering with the Orphan Grain Train to distribute the kits to those in need. The kits will go a long way toward giving the needy the basic necessities for daily personal care they would otherwise might not have. For those that will receive these kits, it will be a true blessing.

However, I cannot accomplish this goal without your help. With a goal of assembling 100 kits at $15.00 per kit, $1500.00 in supplies and materials is needed for this project. Your generous donations will go directly towards purchasing the contents to build the kits. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Any excess funds will be donated to the Orphan Grain Train.
