Aaron’s climb up the Hill
Donation protected
On Sunday, October 16th, 2022, Aaron Hill woke up to a tingling sensation throughout his right arm and leg. Thinking he had just slept wrong, he continued about his regular morning until it started getting worse. His grip strength was diminished and his balance was a bit off and his speech began to slur. A trip to the ER turned into many tests which revealed an ischemic stroke had occurred. He was transferred to the rehabilitation unit of the hospital here in Lafayette. He has undergone 2+ weeks of speech, physical, and occupational therapy. He has recently graduated from speech therapy and made many strides in his physical and occupational therapy. He is hoping to be released soon to return to home.
This will not be the end to his comeback story. He will require more therapy to be able to return to work as a sales lead at Xfinity. There is not an expected return to work date at this time. For those that know Aaron, know that he is a very important asset to the Lafayette store. Customers ask for him by name. His goal is to return to work when the doctors clear him.
In the meantime, he will have medical bills rolling in on top of his daily living expenses, food costs, and transportation to therapy appointments. We are asking for any help you may be able to offer whether that be monetary, prayers for his continued recovery, or other forms of assistance. Anything and everything is extremely appreciated.
Thank you for all of your love, support, and prayers. Go Bills!
