Update below... Thanking day 2017 & Christmas 2017 ----------------------------------------------------------------- My husband, Aaron Laws, suffered a sever stroke on May 8, 2015. My husband was at home and I was at work when I heard clearly, “Call Aaron” in my spirit that I initially attempted to put off. The Lord spoke to me again and said “No, call him now.” After speaking to him and hearing his voice, I knew that he was having a stroke. This was confirmed at the hospital and I was told that Acute Kidney Failure due to High Blood Pressure, which we have been battling for 3 yrs, triggered it. After spending a week in NICU we knew he had a long road to recovery as he is having difficulty moving the right side of his body. Aaron will be transferring to a Skilled Nursing Facility to learn to walk, talk and prayerfully gain full functioning of his motor skills, namely, his right side. Prior to this attack of the enemy, my husband and I were both gainfully employed. I just recently lost my job July 29th 2015. However, we are currently limited to my income alone and I must admit.. it is hard but not too hard for My God! Aaron’s medical bills are beginning to add up and my income alone will not be able to cover his medical expense. My husband and I are both active Ministers in our church (The Rock Ministries International) and are faithful tithers with husband disability check and we believe that God did not bring us into this situation to leave us here. So, I am asking for you to find it in your heart to help my husband and I in our time of need. I am not asking of you something that I would not do myself. ANY amount would be greatly appreciated! We are totally believing and trusting God to see us thru this time and be bigger blessing to you as you bless Aaron and I. As, many know as of August 24th 2017 my husband received a call from Houston Methodist kidney transplant center which he received a Kidney Transplant and we are very thankful for the life that chose to share a gift of life as a donor. We are bittersweet to have found out that my husband donor was deceased and the donor range was age 10 - 20 the donor's name in family is currently Anonymous we will have letters going back and forth based upon their request and our request with an advocate in between we want to love on the family if they're open to wanting to meet my husband we want them to know that we I love any kind people and we appreciate the gift of life from their loved one who has gone on to be with the Lord. _____________________________________ Update... On Thanksgiving morning 11/2017 I was awakened by my husband trying to breathe all I could do was run to the door opening door while dialing 911 back to the room to start chest compressions knowing that I had to save my husband's life by the help of God. The paramedics came they revived my husband four times in our living room and then four times in the ER once they got him stable at 1 hospital after running several tests they life-flighted him into Houston's Medical Center where they were able to run additional testing my husband was unresponsive for quite a while but less than 24 hours my husband was taking off the ventilator taking off all of the medicine that was keeping his heart at a regular Rhythm along which much more medicines I can't even recall. To say all of that I just want to say God performed a miracle. Now my husband is laying in the bed comfortable off all of his medicine and ventilator that he was on due to the cardiac arrest there was no signs of stroke or heart attack they are still monitoring him to see what was the cause of his heart stopped at eight times. All I can say at this time is to God be the glory I still have my husband he still have work to do! God bless each and everyone of you that following our story and that's willing to sacrifice a seed into our lives to help us with the knees that's coming out day by day God bless each and everyone of you. Again, we want to thank you in advance for your love and support.
Update.... The week of Christmas my husband suffered serveal fatal cardiac arrest at home that landed him in the critical care unit. There has been several more while in the hospital. The day after Christmas he was moved out of CCU. Praise God. We are still here but God!
