As many of you know, our friend, fellow rider, and River City Pedhead, Aaron Fogg was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident on May 10, 2017. He was hit head-on by a driver traveling the wrong way down hwy 64 in Savanah, TN. Aaron is a true moped and motorcycle enthusiast and is known for sharing his love for all things two wheeled with everyone he meets. Aaron is selfless, kind hearted and a true friend to so many of us.
Aaron is currently at Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, TN since the accident. Doctors are unsure how much longer he will be there or how many more surgeries and amount of long term care will be needed. Along with the numerous cuts and bruises, Aaron has a severely broken leg and knee, injured neck, and is currently battling an infection that could potentially be life threatening. Doctors have rebuilt his knee and inserted several pins and screws into his leg but he has a long way to go. Through it all Aaron has continued to remain strong and is keeping his spirits high. He is counting down the days to be back on two wheels again and home again with his crazy cat that is really a dog in disguise.
We are hoping to raise some funds to help Aaron with his medical bills and “everyday life” expenses. He needs to be focused on healing right now and not burdened about the next phase.
