Aaron's Heart
Donation protected
On behalf of the Wasson's family and friends, we wanted to start this fundraiser to help an amazing family out. Aaron will be having open-heart surgery very soon and this family needs our support.
They will have a lot of driving to do during the week that Aaron is in the hospital. They will also need extra money for food, bills, and any supplies Aaron might need after surgery. Would you please consider blessing them during this difficult time?
However, most importantly, would you pray for them and for Aaron in the upcoming weeks?
Thank you for your time and support! Below you will find a message from the Wasson's.
Hello Friends,
Our son, Aaron (8 yrs. old) was born with pulmonary atresia with a ventricular septal defect. Basically, he was born without a pulmonary valve (meaning blood was unable to travel through his heart or lungs) and a large hole between his ventricles. At 8 days old, Aaron had a shunt placed to allow his blood to flow properly through his ductus. At 4 months old, he had open-heart surgery to close his hole and put in a pulmonary valve. This valve was only going to last about 3 -5 years. God has intervened and the valve actually lasted over 8 years. However, it is time to replace the pulmonary valve. Aaron will be undergoing his second open heart surgery on June 11th. If there are no complications, Aaron will be in the hospital for 5-7 days. During that time Jeff and I will be with him during the day and then taking turns to be with Gabe (our other son) in the evening. We will be driving back and forth, eating at the hospital, and will have medical bills to cover. We know and believe that God is holding Aaron in His hands but we would covet your prayers during this time as we walk this path. Specifically, we would love prayer for a smooth surgery and no complications.
Thank you in advance for all of your help and support through this time. Jeff, Aaron, Gabe, and I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Love,
Jeff and Nicole Wasson
