Aaron's Fall Semester College Tutition

Hi! My name is Aaron Escobar and I am going to be on my 5th year at George Mason University. I am 2 semesters away from graduating with a B.S. in Physics. This year has been a struggle financially for my family as in May my entire family and I were diagnosed with COVID-19. My parents spent 2 and half weeks without an income which has left a toll on our finances. For the past four years I have relied heavily on financial aid (both grants and lots of loans), but this year I was awarded a mere $398  per semester in grant money and no loans while my tuition bill is $6,937 which leaves me to have to find $6,539 on my own while also having to pay a monthly car bill. And with the rise of tuition it has made it even  more difficult.

Due to COVID-19 I am also in danger in losing my fall semester teaching job and my current income will not suffice for such a big tuition bill. It is so important to me that I graduate this academic school year but at the moment it seems uncertain as I have to find a way to pay for my tuition by August 23rd.
