Aaron Dodd was diagnosed with colon cancer in the fall of 2020. He had surgery to remove the cancer in October. In November 2020 he learned that his colon cancer had metastasized to his liver. In December he started aggressive chemo and will require repeated cat scans, colonoscopies and blood tests indefinitely. Initially he had no income or assets and was covered by a health insurance policy that paid only 70% of his medical bills, leaving him responsible for 30%. At the end of January 2021, he was approved for secondary Medicaid insurance. Your donations so far covered the $1,150 he owed on his surgery bill in 2020 and $1,298 of his medical expenses not covered by his insurance policies through March 2021.
