Aaron Spencer Memorial Fund
Donation protected
After a long battle, on Sunday, September 26, 2021, Aaron Spencer passed away at a hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Aaron leaves behind his loving wife Marie, and sons Alex, Jared, and Gavin. This fundraiser is to help pay for funeral and travel costs, as well as to provide a reserve for his widow and minor children who are left without a means of support as the family had no health or life insurance for such an unexpected and tragic event.
Aaron was a generous soul who made friends wherever he roamed. His love of the outdoors led him to settle his family in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho where he could hunt, fish, hike, swim, and camp to his heart's content. A long haul truck driver, he had already been on the road and away from his beloved home and family for a week with plans to stop and see them on his way to Oregon. He fell ill in Kansas and checked himself into the ER after three days where he was diagnosed with COVID and pneumonia. His condition worsened and he was airlifted to a larger hospital in Joplin for better care. He did not regain consciousness after the flight and passed away after 25 days on a ventilator.
Marie and his boys were able to travel to see him prior to his passing and say goodbye. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by loving family.
Please contribute if you can to support the family of this wonderful man who loved unconditionally and was loved by so many in return.
