Aaron Ruiz Celebration of Life Fund

This Celebration of Life is to honor Aaron Ruiz.  His gentle spirit relayed such a peace and calming effect around his family and friends.  Aaron is compassionate, kind, loving, giving and had a gentleness about him that is unmeasurable.

 During the past four years, Aaron had experienced numerous hospitalizations and hospital visits and came to realize that hospitals in general are very drab.
Even though balloons and flowers are bright and cheerful and are welcomed, both would deflate in a couple of days leaving but only a memory, so we wanted something that could be held on to much longer and being that Aaron took his pillow anywhere he stayed overnight, we thought of a colorful pillowcase.

The funds raised will be solely  be used for the continuation for his mother and grandmother to continue sewing vibrant pillowcases for patients undergoing a Bone Marrow Transplant at Moffit Cancer Center.  This has been done now for the past two years monthly.  When these pillow cases are passed out to the patients, their faces light up as it gives them a feeling of personal comfort of being at home and it brightens their day.
