Aaron Pope's medical and funeral expenses

Update: Aaron was supposed to return home today from his surgery. He did return home. Aaron passed away just after midnight on July 1

Please donate to help Aaron Pope’s family. Seeing Aaron in this condition comes as a shock and has been heart-wrenching. Being in ICU, the medical bills are stacking up in addition to the $8,000 out-of-pocket owed. Now there is a funeral to pay for.

 

 

Aaron has had many medical procedures in his lifetime and has recovered from each of them -meningitis, brain surgery, and two valve replacements…..his 3rd valve replacement on Monday took a toll on him. He came out of the surgery and was alert, talking and joking with the nurses. Stacey left his room at 7:00 pm, and at 9:45 pm, he went into cardiac arrest. It took 1 hour to revive him, and he has been fighting for his life since that time. His kidneys and liver have shut down, and recovery is looking slim for him. Stacey has stayed by his side nonstop. The kids arrived on Thursday and were able to see their dad.

 

 

Aaron worked at Halliburton for years and left a couple of years ago when the plant shut down. He was a great leader and dedicated to his work, often working 60-80 hours weekly. In addition, he loved the outdoors - 4 wheeling, fishing, boating or anything he could do with his family.

 

 

Stacey has been working two jobs to support her little family. She carries the burden of hospital bills and any other expenses that may be coming her way.
