On February 8, 2026, Annie’s life was turned upside down by the sudden and unexpected passing of her beloved husband, Aaron. He leaves behind Annie and their two children, Anya and Leonas, who are now learning to navigate life without his love, guidance, and presence. As a close friend of Annie’s, I want to help support her and her family during this incredibly painful and uncertain time.

Alongside the deep emotional loss, Annie is facing many practical and financial challenges. Arranging a memorial to honor Aaron’s life, covering funeral-related expenses, and managing everyday living costs in the near future have become an added burden. As they have no close family nearby, there are also necessary travel expenses so loved ones can come together to grieve and support one another. All of this is already overwhelming, at a time when Annie should be able to focus on caring for her children and be given the space to grieve and, in time, begin to heal.
