My name is Aaron. I'm 42 years old, from Ft. Wayne Indiana. August 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 3 liver cirrhosis. I am currently receiving treatment for my condition. I need a liver transplant. I am now on the list and going through transplant preparation. Due to my condition I can not work. I cannot afford my bills and the things to make my self comfortable. I am receiving some assistance from the state but it only goes so far. My vehicle was repossessed and living in a cheap hotel. Some of the criteria for transplant is a dependable ride, stable and clean housing. I have a 17 year old son, who is my world. I want to see him grow into a good man and succeed. The donations would help cover the expenses getting back and forth to appointments and the hospital stay. My family would need to be able to stay close to the hospital. The nearby hotels and taxi/Uber will be a challenge for my son and mother. My mother is disabled and on a fixed income. It would mean the world to us for them to be there with me.

My goals later in life after transplant is to bring more knowledge and understanding to liver cirrhosis. I am already doing podcasts and interviews on YouTube to spread awareness. That would also be something I'd like to continue after transplant.
