Hello, my name is Jasmine, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my husband’s story.
I am reaching out because my family needs your help.
We recently discovered my husband, Aaron, has chronic kidney failure. Both of his kidneys are functioning at less than 7%. This was a sudden and unexpected health turn that has required him to be off of work for a few months and foresee him needing to be off for more time in the future. Unfortunately, since he works for the federal government (TSA), he does not receive state disability. Therefore, he has not received any assistance from his employer for the last 3 months. If it wasn't for the love and support of our inner circle, I don't know what we would have done.
Aaron was a healthy 31-year-old, who had no signs or symptoms. This diagnosis was some sort of freak accident that came to light during his routine physical. The doctors are still unsure of why this happened. Aaron has been on dialysis since May and we are currently working very hard to get him on the transplant list. When the time comes for him to receive his transplant, he will need to be off for a few months (we both will), which means he'll be on leave with no pay. We've done our best over the years to save for an emergency, but this is far greater than we ever expected.
Aaron is an amazing father, husband and friend. Everyone that knows Aaron, knows what an incredibly kind, selfless and generous person he is. We hope that with your support, we can find him a match and relieve some of the financial stress this has caused our family. Our goal is for Aaron to be able to rest and heal without the financial stress this unexpected life-changing diagnosis has brought and will continue to bring. We need your help; the cost of supplies, daily medication, dialysis, transplant surgery and loss of Aaron's income has caused a major financial burden.
We kindly ask for any form of support you can provide; a donation, prayer or sharing our story with others. You can donate through GoFundMe or Zelle.
In addition to dealing with the huge financial responsibility that came along with Aaron's diagnosis, we also want to share his story to see if maybe there is someone out there who could potentially be a match for Aaron. If you or anyone you know would be interested in finding out if you are a match, please reach out to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read Aaron's story and for your support.
With Love,
