Hello all, thanks for checking this out. Three weeks ago I received a surprise diagnosis of testicular cancer and was lucky enough to get in for surgery the next day. We were hoping that surgery would be the end of it. Unfortunately, we found some nodules on my lung. Currently, my physicians are deciding between chemotherapy and simple observation for the next 2-5 years.

I cannot work for six weeks due to the surgery, but I hope to return soon. Thankfully this type of cancer appears to be highly susceptible to chemotherapy, and most patients recover fully with no reoccurrence of cancer once the treatments are completed.

Many of you beautiful souls have reached out with encouraging notes and texts. I feel you in my corner and feel well-supported by all of you. Several of you have asked if there was anything tangible you could do to help during this time. A Go Fund Me page was suggested as a user-friendly option. So here we are! We are collecting money to offset the lost paychecks while I'm down and to help pay for chemo treatments over the next several weeks.
