Crucial Truck Repair Needed to Remain in Business

Donation protected
To My Family, Friends, and Valued Customers:

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well! As most of you already know, my name is Aaron Vergari and I am the owner of ‘A Squared Lawn Care’, a landscaping business. I have operated this business for 5 years and (as a direct result of all of you!) have grown tremendously throughout that time.
What started with hauling a push mower and a few shovels in the trunk of our small car, has evolved into owning riding mowers, trailers and eventually the ability to provide snow removal services with my truck. I love and am very passionate about the work I do and I’d like to think that my customers can see that with the time and care I put into each job regardless of how big or small. I consider myself very lucky; not only to have accidentally found a career that I love and that perfectly fits the needs of my family, but to also have the pleasure of regularly meeting new people, creating genuine relationships with customers and in most cases longterm and lasting.
With that being said, because of several ‘life’ variables and a lot of horrible luck, I have recently been forced to consider the possibility of ending my business and finding alternative employment. However, after months of deep thought, conversations with my wife and family (and customers) and considering everything I mentioned above, Ive decided with confidence that I’m going to do anything necessary to continue what I have worked so very hard to build. Even more than that though; become better, more prepared, more organized and harder working then I ever was previous.
And that brings us to the purpose this gofundme page.
Within the last 6 months, my wife and I have had horrible luck with our vehicles and have been set back thousands of dollars in repair costs, all but decimating our wallet.
Two months ago (and after the above mentioned repair expenses) my truck engine died. Losing my truck was not only a huge and critical loss to my business but it also dramatically affected the day to day of our family life. I’m positive that some of you have seen a decline with my consistency and dependability, as a result of this loss, to which I apologize for any inconvenience, frustration, or confusion Its caused.
After looking into all possibilities with financing a vehicle and/or loans for repairs, and after our huge expenses mentioned above, unfortunately I’ve found that I have little to no options.
Finally, after speaking to several customers and getting some positive feedback, I’ve decided to create this Gofundme to raise the $3500 I need to purchase and install a new engine into my existing truck, along with a few other smaller repairs to ensure that I again have a dependable work truck and more importantly, in time and ready for the fast approaching winter. This will be done through KOSKINENS towing and repair in Lansing, NY. To save time and not make this story any longer, if you have any questions about why I believe this is my best option, please feel free to text or call me at anytime and I will be more than happy to explain my reasoning.
In an effort to make everyone more comfortable about this, I thought it would be best To offer labor hours in exchange for any amount donated.
My labor rate is $35 per hour.
So, for example: if you are able to donate $70, I will owe you 2 hours of labor.
I will have everyone’s donation written down separately and will keep track of all of this information.
Important note: I cannot apply the hours owed to plowing. I would not be able to maintain overhead costs/living expenses. The labor hours will go toward any kind of physical work, indoor or outdoor, and only after my truck is repaired and back on the road. This will give me enough time and cushion to be able to stay ‘in the black’. Obviously, there is no expiration date for your balance and you can use it in this capacity whenever you decide.
I apologize for the over explanation. These details are important and will keep us safe from any miscommunication! Again, please do not hesitate to reach out at any time with any questions you may need answered for better understanding or overall comfort. Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this, at the very least.

My family and I deeply appreciate everything that you have done to support us and my business throughout the last 5 years and we will be forever grateful. I would also just Like to point out that I am not ignorant to the fact that we are not the only family who has had a very rough and discouraging year. The last two years have been chaotic and overwhelming (at best) for everyone and although we have certainly had our share of it, we are very aware and empathetic to those who have suffered tremendously in comparison. We feel unbelievably grateful that we have the support of so many people in our lives. Thank you so very much and please take care!
