Aaron & Katrina's journey to their miracle baby!

Williams IVF Journey

Sharing our process isn’t the easiest when it comes to the vulnerability of it all. It’s been a hard road and we have learned, there are many battling this process just like us. In early 2020, Katrina and I lost our baby to an ectopic pregnancy. The process was one of the toughest situations we have been through. Katrina’s life was at risk from the rupture and the uncertainty was an intense moment of fear. Thank God, He was with us all the way. We can look back on this portion of our life and have realized His hand was present in so many areas.

After the loss, Katrina’s near-death experience, and the loss of a fallopian tube, the battle to become pregnant has been a challenge. Numerous months (turning into years) of medications, exams, prayer, and fasting – if you’ve been through the process, you know exactly what we are talking about… it’s just a tough road. The journey isn’t easy. You question your body's capabilities. Are you even worthy of a child? Your flesh and blood. Resentment wants to creep in. Choices are suggested (respite care, fostering, adoption, etc.). The will of God seems so distant and unattainable. His Word tells us that His promises are ‘yes and amen’… but you feel like yours has been overlooked or thrown out altogether. It’s just tough! And to top it off, we have had numerous friends and individuals confide in us their journey… it’s painful and your heart not only bleeds for your circumstance but also, theirs! Some of their journeys have even been longer than ours! It’s just heartbreaking!

During this whole process, one thing we promised ourselves, outside of relying upon/believing wholeheartedly for His divine healing, we promised we would exhaust ALL options before we “gave up” on having our very own child.

So, here we are. IVF. We are embarking on the journey. Reservations are made. Medicines ordered. Retrieval days are just around the corner. It’s an overwhelming process, but exciting at the same time! We have made this a matter of prayer and have full peace about our process. To some, it may be a little unconventional, or even daring… our journey is taking us to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. LIV Fertility. We head out for retrieval week soon! We have done tons of research about this facility. Talked with patients. Doctors. Read endless reviews. You name it. More than anything, we feel God has provided peace.

Many of you know about our journey and have asked whether we would be raising money or not. Some have even suggested fundraising, etc. Here’s the thing, we believe God will make a way. He has come through on so many financial decisions in our lives and we are not about to believe that it stops here. Asking for money is the furthest from our character and we cringe at the thought that we would come off in any way as grifters or opportunists. We would sell our home, vehicles, whatever it means, for His precious gift of a child. But we would be lying if we said there isn’t a need. This process, although much cheaper than in the States, is expensive. So, for those that have been asking, we have started this fundraising page as an outlet to raise funds for this medical endeavor, ONLY if you feel impressed to do so! MORE THAN ANYTHING, we covet your prayers!

*Any unused donations will be donated to fellow friends going through the same IVF process.
