Aaron Hill, 16, Drowned in McKinney TX 7/9/19
Spende geschützt

What started as a seemingly simple swim across a small golf course pond turned tragic when the last one to swim across panicked 3/4s of the way there. Two of the boys jumped in to help, already tired from their swim and without any type of rescue training, they were unable to help him and Aaron Hill slipped below the surface. People from the houses that faced the pond and someone that was fishing jumped in to help while 911 was called.
This sweet 16 yo kid that I hugged in my living room just hours earlier was gone, just like that.
Aaron was a smart kid, he and my son Aaron met in the Alpha program at Webb Elementary, we'd pass him and his parents picking up A Honor Roll certificates in middle school, a great basketball and football player, his Dad coached his basketball team. He had his whole life ahead of him.
My heart breaks for this young man's family, his Dad, Ira Hill is a beloved PE teacher at Slaughter Elementary, having just lost his wife, Terry Hill, an Allen teacher, to breast cancer a few years ago, he has now lost his youngest son. I cannot even imagine.
I am not aware of the family's financial situation but anything to help ease the burden I'm sure would be appreciated.
Hug your babies extra tight and warn them how dangerous water can be.
We love you Aaron, you're beautiful smile will be missed.
