Aaron Goldsmith Torah Dedication
Donation protected
Hello and welcome,
We have created this fundraising campaign in honor of our father, Aaron Benzion ben Eliezer Halevi. We are writing a Torah in his memory, and we wanted to invite you to join us in paying tribute to the life of the man we all knew and loved.
One of our father's favorite holidays was Simchas Torah. We have heard so many stories about all he would do to help people celebrate with as much joy as possible.
The Torah is the holiest book in Judaism, with each letter handwritten by an expert scribe.
Dedicating a Torah to a person who has passed does more than honor their memories; it gives them an infinite connection to life. We are taught that every Jewish soul is a letter in the Torah. Dedicating one in his memory signifies the beauty of his soul joining with the souls of the Jewish nation to create eternal meaning, letter by letter.
Our father was a guiding light in many lives, and we hope that this Torah will continue to be a source of light and comfort for many to come.
Thank you for joining us in honoring our father's memory.
The Torah was started on November 15, 2020, during a memorial service in Postville, Iowa.
Donation Amounts --
There is no amount too small or large. The following will get these specific parts of the Torah:
