Hi! My name is Cassie Stutzman. I am generating this fundraiser to help ease the burden of costly medical expenses for Aaron Freeman and his family who are dear to all of our hearts. Everyone who knows "Big A" knows he would never ask for anything and would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone without an ounce of hesitation.

Back in June Aaron started having respiratory difficulties and soon found out he had two spots on his lungs with swollen lymph nodes. He was then sent to a pulmonologist in August and had his first biopsy on the nodules and lymph nodes. This biopsy came back inconclusive and they weren't getting the answers they needed it was then time to seek help elsewhere. They saw a critical care Pulmonologist where further scans and additional testing were performed. With this they noticed that his lymph node had now became larger and were very concerned so they did another CT Scan (5 in total) followed by a PET scan that lit up very much in these areas. He then had to have another biopsy which also came back inconclusive because of so much inflammation due to where the lymph node was (in his airway) he was then sent to a infectious disease specialist with further testing performed then to a surgeon who decided he needed to have these nodules and lymph nodes removed. Aaron is now scheduled to have surgery on 2/1. The procedure is called a Thoracoscopy w/ Segmentectomy. They will be removing these nodules and lymph nodes in left lung and airway along with 1/3 of the upper lobe of his left lung.

As a community I believe we can come together to help ease the burden of very costly medical expenses which have and will occur and allow him and his family a little peace of mind during his post-op healing process.
