Aaron Bentley Support Fund
Donation protected
Journey on, Aaron. Aaron was tragically taken from us during a ski accident on February 11th. Aaron was a very skilled and dedicated engineer who most recently worked at Northrop Grumman and became an integral part of our team. We developed a great professional and personal relationship with him since his move to UT in the fall of 2020 and we will all miss him dearly.
During the time we had to know Aaron we learned that he was an avid KC Chiefs fan, enjoyed being in the outdoors, rock climbing (which is how he met his wife), skiing, competing in our team cook-offs, and playing on a recreational softball league at work. Aaron was also passionate about Mini Baja and volunteered at events to be a mentor and serve as a judge. Aaron had a great laugh and sincerely cared about doing things the right way. And although we sometimes gave him a hard time about being our resident Eeyore, he actually taught us a lot about being positive and looking forward.
This fund is to support Aaron's wife, Effy, as she navigates this very difficult time. It will also support Aaron's first child who, unfortunately, he will not have the opportunity to meet. Effy is expected to give birth to their child within the next week or two. Effy is from France and her family all still reside there, any support we can offer her is greatly appreciated and needed. We send all the love, prayers, and support we can to those affected by this tragedy and thank Aaron for the positive impact he has had on our lives.
