Hi, my name is Abbie, and my family and I are fundraising for the extraordinary doctors and surgeons at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.

My brother Aaron lost his battle with a congenital heart condition on May 22nd, 2024, at the age of 24.

Aaron lived a life full of joy and brought immense happiness to everyone around him. He was incredibly funny and could crack a one-liner like nobody else in the room. We want to celebrate Aaron's life and remember him for who he was, not his condition.

He fought till the end, never letting his heart condition stop him from doing what he wanted or burdening anyone with his daily struggles. Despite his challenges, he was the best twin, brother, son and boyfriend always worrying and caring for those close to him over himself.

From the moment Aaron was born, he endured many ups and downs, including numerous life-threatening surgeries. Yet, Aaron always came back fighting with a big smile on his face.

The hospital became Aaron and my mum's second home for the first five years of his life. They did everything they could to give Aaron the best chance of a full life, but we always knew it might be cut short. Against all odds, Aaron surpassed expectations by living 24 incredible years. We feel unbelievably grateful for the little fighter he was, and we have 24 years of unforgettable memories that will never fade.

In memory of Aaron, we would like to fundraise to support families who go through similar challenges. We aim to provide necessary equipment and facilities for the family rooms at the hospital.

Aaron could not have lived his life without the dedicated work of those at the Royal Brompton.
