We are having surgery Thursday of next week.

We have been in and out of many different hospitals over a year now. multiple X RAYS ,blood work, CT scans, scraping behind the eye , poked, abdominal scans ,

They are doing a removal of the left eye and the surrounding eye lids. the first day they are taking more samples of the lymph nodes which is where the mast cell tumors are draining into. Which can move to his entire body. Which these will also be removed durning surgery.

Depending how much they can see and cut out. We are looking at a Slab for closure. (Meaning they will take a piece of skin from either his cheek, head or neck to close up the section of the eye.

He will spend 1-2 days over night at the hospital and then 2 more days of check ups after.

After all the eye lids have been removed. We will do a follow up appt for possibly radiation. Which we are hoping isn't the case that they removed everything the first go around. But we won't know till healing as started.
