I'm Danielle Trujillo, this is my 16 year old daughter Aaliyah Banda whom was just diagnosed with diabetes April 9, 2025. She also has a rare genetic disorder called Kearn Sayre Syndrome. Which is the cause of her being diagnosed with diabetes. She was at school when I got a call she's not acting like herself. We took her to the ER in Elk City where her blood sugar was at a high of 553. She was transported to OU Children's where she was treated for type 1 diabetes, still waiting for the blood work to confirm which type, but they are pretty sure she's type 1. So many people have asked how to help in our time of need. Right now we will have multiple trips to OU for follow ups. So I made this gofundme to help with the travel expenses. Thank You
