"Miss Paula" Lamont - Final Expenses & Funeral

Paula Lamont, an iconic member of the Pelham community for decades, is now hospitalized with stage 4 colon cancer. Sadly, she is receiving palliative care only, since more aggressive treatment will only hasten her death.

 

Even if you didn't know "Miss Paula" personally, living in Pelham at any time over the last 80+ years, you couldn't miss her graceful style and large collection of hats! Many childhood memories are full of stories with "Miss Paula." Paula Lamont, taught Modern Dance to  generations of Pelham girls. Through Paula Lamon's Modern Dance School, she taught us how to move our bodies with confidence, as well as offering hugs, advice and love generously.

 

Now in her mid-80's, Paula has no financial resources. She was the victim of con-artists who prey on the elderly, and she thought would live forever, so never bought life insurance. Paula and her daughter need our love, prayers and financial support to take care of medical bills, hospice, final arrangements and her last wishes.

 

The costs for end of life care and a graceful transition are more than we ever imagined.  Please help, if you can.
