Ayesha's Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
From loving and caring kids:
Some have described our mom to be something like a superwoman.
Before being diagnosed with the deadliest form of cancer at a relatively young age of 46, she was the type to go to her job of 20 years as a chemist, come home to cook for us (ages 18, 16, and 8 at the time), manage the house, care for her Alzheimer's-afflicted mother, and somehow manage to be the healthiest member of our family in diet and exercise.
Over a year ago, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and immediately underwent surgery and chemotherapy. The surgery was very intense and left her unable to digest most food, resulting in severe weight loss. Although she has been fighting hard, the cancer has come back aggressively and is now in an advanced stage.
Our family is determined to seek a potentially life-saving therapy, but it is outside Canada, and the cost of such a treatment is astronomical. We are turning to the internet in hopes of collecting enough funds to cover her medical bills and expenses.
Please donate today to help the most wonderful person we know beat the odds.
