Help us to rebuild our house
Hello
Al Sersawi family from Gaza City lived a modest life in their small, beloved home, surrounded by love and security. Father Hussain Al Sersawi, mother Rema, and their three children: Ali, Omar, and Abdullah, held dreams of a brighter future for their children. But in an instant, their lives were shattered into a tragic nightmare.
On a fateful, dark night, the deafening sounds of bombing tore through the city. In mere moments, their home was reduced to rubble and dust. With no time to salvage their belongings or even comprehend the horror, they fled for their lives, leaving behind everything they knew and loved – every precious memory and hope for the future.
Now, the Sersawi family finds themselves in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, with their only shelter being a dilapidated tent offering no real protection from the scorching heat of summer or the biting cold of winter. Father Hussain Al Sersawi, once the pillar of the family, struggles with the helplessness of not being able to provide for his loved ones in these dire circumstances. Mother Rema, with a heart heavy with sorrow, tries to comfort her children, though their eyes reflect the depth of their trauma and fear.
Ali, the eldest son, who once aspired to become a doctor, now finds his dreams drowned in their harsh reality. Omar, who used to find joy in playing with his friends, now lives in constant fear, hesitant to leave their temporary shelter. Little Abdullah, whose laughter used to brighten their home, now suffers from a haunting silence and disturbing nightmares that disrupt his sleep.
The echo of the Sersawi family's plea reverberates through the silence, appealing for mercy and assistance. They have lost everything: their home, their sense of security, and the fragile threads of hope that once bound their dreams. Their current existence in a tent is a temporary and unbearable torment, a daily reminder of their despair and displacement. Your help could transform their reality, offering a lifeline between life and death, hopelessness and a renewed sense of purpose, devastation and stability.
Al Sersawi family urgently needs your support to rebuild not just a house, but a home where they can restore their dignity and humanity. They yearn for a place where they can once again feel safe and rebuild their shattered lives. Your assistance can bring a glimmer of hope to this family, ensuring they do not remain lost in the darkness of their suffering. Help them reclaim their peace, their dreams and their future.
