A Single Mother In Need

Donation protected
Hi my name is Casie, I am wanting to help out a single mother I know named Jamie. Without throwing all of her business out, I will sum up her current hurdles.
She has no help from nobody, no family (most are addicts) and her daughter was recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, receptive expression language disorder, lack of coordination, and aggression.

I can’t express enough how good of a person and mother Jamie is. She’s tried numerous outlets to help with assistance for rent/bills. Everything that she has tried has a waiting list.
She’s stuck in a hard spot, because if she works full-time, she doesn’t get assistance, and can’t afford to pay all of her bills, if she works part time, she gets assistance, but she also still can’t afford to pay all of her bills. She’s a very hard worker, she’s tried all avenues and my heart breaks for her.
She was getting a little financial help for rent from her grandpa, who was a veteran who is in a nursing home in Marshalltown. Unfortunately his health is declining due to dementia and age. And the last two months Jamie’s so called “family” has stole that money from grandpas bank account. Leaving Jamie worried about getting evicted.
And when I mean, this woman has tried every avenue the last couple months for assistance, she has.
It breaks my heart to see her cry, and worry when she already has enough to worry about with her daughter.
I would at least like to raise enough so her rent could be covered the rest of the year, especially with the holidays coming up. Anything extra could maybe be put towards groceries, bills, or Christmas gifts for her daughter. She’s an amazing person, so I know whatever money is raised for her will go towards the necessities she needs to stay afloat for the time being.

I already have some moms coming together to drop off some fall/winter clothes for her daughter, so thank you to those who have chosen to help her!

Any amount given will be greatly appreciated ❤️

here is a description of a recent post Jamie had made on her Facebook:

“When Kinnick started showing signs of aggression. I decided to stay home with her and help her and work with her before I put her in another daycare. And now we know that she has ASD autism spectrum disorder. And I would not change that decision for the world. It was the best thing I could have done for her. During that time I also decided to file for bankruptcy because of lapse in insurance and a loans I could not get ahead of after I had Kinnick I knew in a couple years that give us a fresh start. But I didn’t realizes how hard it is to get a job because bankruptcy is so frowned upon. I got turned away from jobs that I was more than qualified for after they ask you that question is there anything we need to know, so I started working at Hyvee. They were very flexible with my schedule because of kinnick, but we’re just not quite making ends meet, and it finally caught up to me. we’re on the verge of losing our home and car etc. I’ve asked to stay with people so I can get caught up but nobody has the room. I just don’t understand if somebody needed a place to stay whether I lived in a one bedroom, apartment or studio. I don’t care they could sleep on the floor on the couch we would make it work, just don’t understand these days how people can turn away somebody they love, when they need them the most. I haven’t slept in days. I’ve been up all night researching things that we could do waiting to hear back from different organizations. I do know that I am a very good mom but we’re just not cutting it these days so if anybody knows of anything, please let me know.”
