Hi! I’m fundraising for Pixie, our family dog of 11 years. Pixie has brought so much joy into our lives with her energetic and loving personality. We all hold her near and dear to our hearts and want her to come home as her usual healthy and happy self for her 12th birthday next week (November 10th)!

Pixie is currently in the intensive care unit at VERG Hospital for life-threatening complications due to newfound diabetes. Her diabetes led to Acute Diabetic KetoAcidosis, which means there is acid buildup in her blood because her pancreas no longer produces insulin. She requires 24/7 monitoring at the critical care level.

Pixie will need to stay in intensive care for 3+ days, depending on how she responds to the treatment plan. Pixie’s medical bill currently stands at $6,800.
