Hello. My name is Marie Jill Tura from Cebu City, Philippines, now based in the US. A deadly magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit the central Philippines on September 30, 2025. At least 72 people were killed, and hundreds more were injured. Families are mourning the loss of their children and loved ones. Over 20,000 residents were evacuated and spent the night in evacuation centers or outdoors as strong aftershocks continued. I’m launching a fundraising campaign for Cebu earthquake victims, driven by my personal connection to the area. My goal is to raise $1000 for essential necessities like food, water, and medicine.
