Support for the Lee Family

Hello everyone,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news about the passing of our dear friend, Yewon Lee. For six years, she bravely battled cancer with the fervent support of her husband and family. On Feb 5th, 2024 at 3:50pm, she went home to be with the Lord. She was only 45 years old.

Yewon leaves behind her beloved husband, Jae Ho, and their two daughters, Esther (13) and Elisha (11). As they grapple with the profound sudden loss of their loving wife and cherished mother, they are now faced with a reality of continuing their close-knit family’s lives without her.

Many people will remember Yewon as a loving wife and caring mother. But she was also a dear friend and sister to those in our community. She was such a sweet soul who radiated kindness and warmth to everyone around her. While quiet in her demeanor, she had a humorous wit and candor to her. Most importantly, she was a person of resilient faith - even as she battled illness for over 6 years.

We have established this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the medical expenses incurred during her years-long battle with cancer. Any additional funds raised will also go towards helping cover the cost of funeral arrangements as well as providing ongoing support for the Lee family as they navigate this new challenging journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
