Hello Family and Friends

Most of you guys know my dad, Sean, a guy who is always there to help anyone who needs help, a guy who is always smiling (for the most part :) ), a guy who cares very much about his family and friends, a guy who loves life and a guy who is very private about what is happening to him personally.

I'm starting this for our dad because most of you don't know he was diagnosed with High Risk Stage 2 Prostate Cancer in November 2023. Dad has opted to have surgery on February 9th which will remove the prostrate and taking biopsies from the surrounding lymph nodes/tissues to rule out any additional cancer. We are praying that radiation won't be needed. During his recovery time, he will be on a leave of absence from his work for 6 to 8 weeks and mom will be home majority of the time assisting in his recovery.

Since dad found out about his diagnosis, he hasn't been the same person as we all know and love because he is worried and scared of the unknown of having cancer. Over hearing many conversations that my parents have been having about treatment and planning for this time, we all know that the cost of having surgery and unexpected medical bills associated with having cancer can be costly. Medical insurance will cover most of these bills but coming into a new calendar year, new deductibles and copays will be due along with the additional cost of winter expenses living in Maine.

Any support is greatly appreciated to help our family as we help dad get through this. KICK CANCERS ASS!!
