We’re not the type to ever ask for help, but right now our family really needs it. A few days ago, we found my dad on my floor. He was life-flighted to Presby Hospital, where he’s currently in the ICU on a ventilator. Watching someone you love fight for their life is something you can never truly prepare for. We’re doing everything we can to stay close to him during this difficult time, but the costs are adding up quickly gas, groceries, and a place to stay near the hospital are all becoming a challenge. Even with hospital vouchers, most nearby places are over $200 a night, and the doctors expect him to be here for a few more weeks.We want nothing more than to be by his side until he makes a full recovery. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and would go directly toward staying close and supporting my dad through his recovery.
