Life suddenly took a turn for our beloved friend and colleague, Sandra, who was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, Sandra was an exceptional nurse with numerous qualities. Her empathy, caring and compassion for others, made all the difference when she would bring light to life. On a personal level, Sandra is a single mother who is blessed with 3 lovely daughters and 2 active and joyful dogs. Activities such as hiking, painting and spending sunset with her family and dogs were the landmarks of her life. Unfortunately, due to her medical diagnosis, her life has paused to go through a journey of medical treatment. Healthcare costs can quickly add up and those costs can become a source of stress for her and her young daughters, therefore we kindly ask you to help her to prevail over the greatest challenge of her life.
