My name is Mara Yasmin, and I am living through a nightmare. Right now, I am caught in the middle of a brutal war in Gaza, where each day brings new horrors and new challenges.

I started this charity because I couldn’t just sit back and watch as people around me suffered. Every day, I see children who should be in school, but instead are hiding in basements, terrified of the bombs falling overhead.
