Hey my name is Andrew, and my mom is struggling to keep the house afloat. A little background information: My moms name is Heather, living in the house with my mom is also my little sister. My father passed away Christmas day of 2009, and he was the main support keeping the household thriving. My mom has many medical problems that make it hard for her to leave the home let alone work. She has done everything she can to give us the best lives she possibly could and is struggling right now since her medical issues have gotten worse.
My sister's name is Brianna, she is 24, she can't walk or talk due to having down syndrome, epilepsy, autism was recently diagnosed with Graves disease and quite a few other complicated medical conditions. She had her 1st stroke when she was only two years old, causing severe brain damage, and had another at 17 that has left her paralyzed and wheelchair bound.
Back in 2019, the house was listed for tax sale. My mother has been struggling to get the money together due to Covid and both of their medical issues. To make matters worse the company who picked up the tax sale has paid every year in advance making it nearly impossible to catch up. I want to try and help save their home, so I'm asking anyone that can help to please help if they can. We are trying to raise $25,000 by October 15th of 2021 so that we can save the house they live in from tax sale and legal fees.
